Chittlehampton is a village and civil parish within the North Devon district of the County of Devon with a population of roughly 2,255 people. The parish of Chittlehampton also includes Umberleigh, Furze, Stowford and Cobbaton, and some other outlying hamlets. The parish is surrounded by the towns and villages of Swimbridge, Filleigh, South Molton, Satterleigh and Warkleigh, High Bickington, Atherington and Bishops Tawton.

Chittlehampton Parish Council would like to create a public tidy up team in order to maintain the village. The council encourages community engagement, and advises the public attend the next meeting Wednesday 29th July 19:30 at the Methodist Rooms in order to create a plan together.

On Monday 29th June in the evening weed spraying around Chittlehampton Village will commence. The councils politely asks residents to allow space along the footpath wall for access to spray the weeds there.
